James L. Shields (Jim) co-founded the firm with Phillip G. Hunt (Phil) in 1996.

Phil retired in June of 2021. Phil  made it his practice to provide sound and thoughtful advice at all times, whether developing and leading negotiation strategies, or appearing in court, before administrative decision makers, or in mediation proceedings.
