Sogol joined SHDS as an associate in June 2019. In January 2023, Sogol joined the partnership. 

 

Sogol provides counsel on labour arbitrations, wrongful dismissal claims and judicial reviews.  Sogol’s practice focuses exclusively on advising federally and provincially regulated trade unions in all areas of human rights, labour and employment law, including termination, discipline, collective agreement interpretation, workplace health and safety matters, and preparation of workplace policies and practices. 

 

Sogol has a Nidan in Karate, a Shodan in Tae Kwon Do and is a member of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. In her free time, Sogol enjoys cycling, planning her next trip, or trying out new local restaurants.
